Warri Wolves Given Three-match Ultimatum



Due to their poor run in the league, the club management players  and coaches of Nigerian Premier league outfit of  Warri Wolves have given the Seasiders players  and coaches a three-match ultimatum ,Warri Wolves have been directed to get seven points from their next three league games. General Manager of the Seasiders Davidson Owumi handed this directive to the team after their draw
against Gombe United at the Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi in order to awaken them from their slumber following series of sloppy displays in the league this season. In a chat with Goal, the Seasiders' media manager Moses Etu said that Owumi handed out the directive to ensure that the club swim out of their precarious position on the league table. "The General Manager of the club, Davidson Owumi has told the players and coaches of the club to ensure that they get seven points from their next three games," Etu told Goal. "They have a point already since the ultimatum started from the away tie at Gombe United. They still have to win their next two matches to get the GM's minimum requirements. "We know we have the players but so many factors ranging from the lack of commitment to work of some of our players and other factors responsible for our woes. They must step up their performance so that drastic actions are not taken. Warri Wolves will play Nasarawa United at the Warri Township Stadium before playing away to Kaduna United in the concluding fixture of the first stanza. They have 22 points from 16 matches.
