Italy Coach Cesare Prandelli promises his team will fight for every ball and put up a battle against Uruguay this afternoon.
After a win and a defeat from their opening two World Cup matches, the Azzurri know they will be out of the tournament should they lose again against the South Americans.
“We will look to fight for every ball,” Prandelli told TG1 in an interview today.
“We have recovered physically and mentally after Recife and we will go onto the pitch to put up a battle.
“If our opponents are better than us we will congratulate them but I am sure we will be better.
“We will not be the same Italy seen against Costa Rica.
“Everyone under examination? That is nothing new, that’s how Italy is and often only one game’s worth of work is considered as opposed to work over a whole year.
“We are 60m national team Coaches.”
