According to reports in England Mats Hummels is set to reject a move to Barcelona in favour of a switch to Manchester United.
The Germany defender who was part of the World Cup winning team has long been a target for Barcelona having become a lynchpin of Jurgen Klopp’s side during their Bundesliga-winning peak.
But the Daily Mirror claims that the Germany international will turn down the chance to sign for Luis Enrique’s men in order to sign for the Premier League outfit.
It seems that Louis van Gaal has persuaded Hummels to leave Signal Iduna Park, with the Red Devils set to beat the Catalans for his signature.
