Paris to Unveil 2024 Olympic Bid Next Week

Paris will officially be submitting its bid to host the 2024 Olympics on Tuesday, reports Around the Rings.

Sports leaders in France will gather at the National Olympic Committee’s (NOC) hadquarters in the French capital to outline their plans.

The bid will be presented to the French sports movement by bid leaders Bernard Lapasset and Etienne Thobois.

Paris will be going up against Boston, Budapest, Hamburg and Rome in the race to host the 2024 Games.

The host city will be named by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in 2017 in Lima, Peru.
