The Australian Grand Prix will continue to be held in Melbourne until at least 2023 after organisers extended their F1 deal.
Albert Park's place on the calendar had been secured until 2020 last
summer but the Victoria state government has now penned a further
three-year extension.
The Labor Government has secured the world-renowned event at the
perfect time, as Australian favourite Daniel Ricciardo’s promising
career hits top gear.
The FORMULA 1 AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX is one of world sport’s most
popular events. Thousands of fans flock from all over the world, and
images of Melbourne and Victoria are broadcast into millions of homes
around the globe – inspiring many viewers to travel here and see our
state for themselves.
