IOC President Thomas Bach Says Paris Attacks Won't Affect 2024 Olympic Bid

ThomasBach

International Olympic Committee (IOC) president Thomas Bach believes the tragic events in Paris will not affect the city's chances of hosting the 2024 Olympic Games.
With the host city to be announced in 2017, Bach says the attacks will not have a bearing on the IOC's decision.
Few days ago a series of coordinated terrorist attacks consisting of mass shootings, suicide bombings, and hostage-taking—occurred in Paris, France, and Saint-Denis, one of its northern suburbs. Beginning at 21:20 CET, there were three separate suicide bombings outside the Stade de France and, nearer central Paris, there were mass shootings and a suicide bombing at four different locations which led to the death of 129 victims and over 400 seriously injured
Paris are one of five candidate cities to host the 2024 Olympics along with Rome, Budapest, Hamburg and Los Angeles.
