FIFA, deputy secretary general Markus Kattner has been sacked after claims that he had breached financial rules.
Kattner was dismissed with immediate effect having been in the role since 2007.
In a statement FIFA has said it will not comment further on any of
the details, but will continue its cooperation with the relevant
authorities.
