Liu Jun, the vice-president of the Suning Sports Group, has been appointed Inter Milan CEO following the resignation of Michael Bolingbroke.
Bolingbroke, who formerly served as CEO at Manchester United, joined Inter three years ago, after the Italian club was purchased by Erick Thohir.
Chinese retail giant, Suning, took control of 70 percent of Inter Milan in June, with Thohir retaining 30.
Bolingbroke’s exit was announced just weeks after coach Frank de Boer was sacked by the club. Suning will serve as interim CEO until a permanent successor is appointed.
