Premier League clubs are set to sell shirt sleeve space to sponsors, giving individual clubs the potential to earn up to £10 million ($12.5 million), according to a report published by The Mirror.
They reported that the sleeve space is valued at approximately 20% of the entire shirt deal and that the majority of Premier League clubs are looking for sponsors.
The sleeves used to host the Premier League logo and title sponsor but this has been removed at the start of this current season.
The proposal, "put forward by clubs to top-flight bigwigs, was agreed recently and teams’ commercial departments are already negotiating deals for the start of next season, though few clubs will miss out in the short term because their current main shirt sponsorship deals include clauses forbidding the appearance of other company logos on their jerseys
