FC Barcelona have announced that the planned redevelopment of their home stadium Camp Nou is facing delays of at least a year.
Work on the development was due to begin this year, but will now be postponed until summer 2018 at the earliest.
The redevelopment will cost around $440m to complete, with the project first approved in 2014 following a referendum involving the club's members.
The Camp Nou originally opened in 1957 and has a capacity of almost 99,000. The new structure will be able to house around 6,000 extra fans
