Beckham Becomes Global Ambassador For Insurer

Pan-Asian life insurer AIA Group has named former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder David Beckham as its new global ambassador.

The former England captain - who also represented Preston North End, Los Angeles Galaxy, AC Milan and Paris St Germain - has signed a multi-year deal with the Pan-Asian corporation.

The financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, but the Englishman will have a presence at AIA conferences and provide his image for marketing campaigns.

“Joining the AIA family was an easy decision for me,” said Beckham. “I am a passionate believer in the value of wellness and maintaining a healthy lifestyle and I share AIA’s commitment to encourage people to take charge of their health.”
