Barcelona are increasingly confident of agreeing a deal to sign Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann next summer, but will only make a move if Liverpool refuse to sell Philippe Coutinho.
According to Catalan newspaper Sport, Barcelona see Griezmann as a sure-fire hit at the Nou Camp and believe his €100million (£89.5m) release clause represents very good value for money in the current market.
They have had enough encouragement from the striker to believe he would be open to a move, but it will only happen if they fail to sign Coutinho, who they still consider their No 1 target for next summer.
