Akwa United opponents in the CAF
Confederation Cup, Hawks FC of The Gambia will hit Uyo on Wednesday, February 7
for their February 11 match billed for the Godswill Akpabio International
Stadium.
A letter signed by the Secretary General
of the Club Mr Sadibou Kamaso informed their host that whereas an advance
delegation will arrive Nigeria two days earlier, the main delegation comprising
18 players and nine officials will hit Lagos later onboard A-Sky Airlines
by15.05 pm.
Akwa United is to be
responsible for the transit accommodation of the visiting team in Lagos and the
airlifting to and from Uyo as stated by CAF rule on destinations beyond 200
kilometres from Lagos and Abuja.The return leg is fixed for Banjul on
Wednesday, February 21
