Atletico Madrid and Belgium winger Yannick Carrasco
is set to make a shock switch to Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang in a
£26million deal ahead of the Chinese season commencing in March, clubs have
until February 28 to secure signings for the upcoming campaign with
newly-promoted Dalian Yifang showing their intent with a move for the flying
winger.
The
24-year-old will become the second Belgian international to swap European
football for China after midfielder Axel Witsel joined Tianjin
Quanjian in January 2017 and according to HLN, he is set to pick up a hefty wage
rise too, with the forward set to earn a whopping £8.8million a year.
Former Monaco attacker
Carrasco has previously been linked with Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and
Manchester United but his latest move is further proof of a stuttering career.
