Barcelona still unbeaten in 40 games but could only manage a draw with Celta missing the chance to extend their La Liga lead as they were held to a draw at Celta Vigo.

Iago Aspas scored controversial late equaliser to ensure the home team take two points off Catalans. The 2-2 draw means Ernesto Valverde's side are still on course to finish the season unbeaten and could win the league in two matches’ time by beating Real Madrid at the Nou Camp.

Messi was introduced in the game in the second half  and looked to have inspired another Barca victory when Paulinho gave the visitors a 2-1 lead four minutes later but Sergi Roberto was sent off for preventing Iago Aspas sprinting clear and in the 82nd minute the former Liverpool striker made it 2-2.
