Liverpool
forward Mohamed Salah has
been named the Premier League player
of the month for March after continuing his impressive form for Liverpool.
This is
the third time this season that the Egyptian has claimed the award, adding to
his triumphs in November and February, and he has become the first player to claim
the prize three times in a single campaign.
The forward scored six goals in Liverpool's four Premier League games
last month, beginning March with a goal in a 2-0 win over Newcastle at Anfield.
Salah has 29 goals in the league this has equalled Didier Drogba's record for the most goals scored in a Premier League season by an African player, which also makes him four ahead of Kane and eight clear of Manchester City's Sergio Aguero
