German soccer champions Bayern Munich have agreed a three-year partnership with the Armani fashion group.
The Italian label will provide suits designed by founder Giorgio Armani for the team’s players and senior officials, which will be worn at functions and for travel. Each of the players’ suits will have a personalised label.
The financial terms of the deal were not released.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, the chief executive of Bayern Munich, said: “We are proud and we think it is great that Bayern Munich will in the future be dressed personally by a maestro of the fashion world.”
