Echiejile suffered an injury in the first half.

The Super Eagles and their Greek counterparts settled for a goalless draw in the test match between both sides played in the early hours of Wednesday in Philadelphia, United States.
Though Nigeria fielded a stronger side compared to that which played the 2-2 draw against Scotland last Wednesday in London, the African Champions were still unable to the get the best off their Euro opponents who coincidentally also played a goalless draw in their preceding match against Portugal.
Nigeria’s inability to get any goal from their penultimate test match before heading to Brazil was not for dearth of chances but for the inability to convert the few that came their way.
Victor Moses, Michael Uchebo, Efe Ambrose amongst others all had fair chances of getting a goal for Nigeria in the game against Greece.
While the clean sheet recorded by Nigeria will be seen as plus, many feel that the Eagles will need to step up in not just creating chances but in converting such opportunities when they come.
Meanwhile a sour point from the Greece friendly would be the slight knock suffered by left-back, Elderson Echiejile, who was forced out with what looked like a hamstring injury in the first half and was replaced by Kunle Odunlami as the Greeks attempted to cash in on the situation.
Having settled for two successive draws, many will hope Nigeria will round off their build-up to the Mundial on a high as they will take on the United States in Jacksonville on Saturday ahead of the June 16 Group F clash with Iran.
Nigeria line up against Greece: Enyeama, Ambrose, Echiejile (Odunlami), Omeruo, Oboabona (Yobo), Onazi, Mikel, Odemwingie (Babatunde), Musa (Uchebo), Moses, Emenike (Nwofor).
