The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has signed a long-term extension to its sponsorship deal with adidas.
The two parties have put pen to paper on an extended deal that will run until 2026.
The deal sees the continuation of a long-standing partnership which
has lasted over 35 years, which has coincided with the team's triumphs
at the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the European Championships in 2008 and
2012.
"We are very proud to announce the extension of our successful
sponsorship agreement with the Spanish Football Federation," said
Herbert Hainer, CEO of adidas group.
"We hope to continue with our successful agreement and support the Spanish National in future achievements."
Angel Maria Villar, President of the Spanish National Football
Federation stated: "The extension of our close relationship with adidas
takes place because we're convinced it's the best for RFEF and for the
different national teams.
"RFEF and adidas have worked alongside each other for many years and
will continue to do so until 2026, a period of time we are sure will be
fruitful for both parties."
adidas will continue to provide playing kits and training wear for
the Spanish national football teams as well as all RFEF teams.
