Dead Balls..

 By Ahmed Issa
The new season has been an interesting one in the world of sport with various highlights which have included new English Premier League Champions, Barcelona adding another Champions league crown to its collection, the King defending his crown. It’s been a surprising start to the new Premier League Season. With just about 2 months left in 2015, there is still plenty of time for a few more highpoints with exciting match-ups and tournaments.
The last few weeks have been of international duties for the players but the break is over and now it's time to get back to League actions.
The International Breaks…
A lot of players got injured while representing their national which is not good news especially for the Blue part of Manchester who lost two of their best players.
Awww City!!!
Sergio Aguero who just found his goal scoring form injured his left hamstring that could rule him out for the month as if that wasn’t enough City midfield wizard David Silva who just returned from injury was sent back, the Spanish midfielder was caught on his ankle another 2-3weeks on the side line for him and Kolarov was forced off with a knock as well against Portugal.
Members of the injury team from the International break
PSG pair David Luiz and Kevin Trapp picked up injuries while on duty with Brazil and Germany respectively. Bayern Munich will be without Mario Gotze for up to 12 weeks, well Manchester United can keep calm over their German Midfielder; Schweinsteiger’s injury wasn’t as serious as feared, as he returned as an unused substitution in Germany’s 2-1 win over Georgia recently.
Pogba strained his ankle in France’s win against Denmark so Juventus will have to do without Alvaro Morata and Paul Pogba when they return to Turin even with both players the Old lady have struggled for form this season and will be facing the log leader this weekend Inter Milan.
Karim Benzema scored twice for France against Armenia but was forced to leave the pitch minutes before the full-time whistle with a hamstring injury joining Lucas Modric and James Rodrigues on the side line.
Coentrao was ruled out just for before Portugal’s game with Serbia, which they still won 2-1, and secured top-spot in their group but for Chelsea fans they celebrated the injury of  Branslav Ivanovic for reasons best known to them, Matic was also substituted  during Serbia’s 2-0 win over Albania, the midfielder left the field with Muscular problem.
Tim Krul has been ruled out for the rest of the season after rupturing his ACL, Newcastle’s loss can only be Sunderland’s gain, as they face the prospect of an enormous North-East derby without their first-choice goalkeeper.
Expect More Upsets!!!
The so called “Big teams” will be facing a lot of challenges and many of them will see a lot of stories that will end like that of David and Goliath. We have seen Chelsea and Juventus struggling.
Reasons
Most of them have lost their best players due to injury even those that are not injured will have a challenge of Fatigue; All four of England’s teams in the Champions League (and Liverpool) will now play five matches in 15 days for the rest of October, playing for their national as first team player and playing more competitions such as Champions League with the pace of the game going faster this days, there’s possibility of getting tired while the lower table teams which players are mostly substitutes or not even called up for national assignments set to look fresh with fewer competitions to play.
Klopp Won’t Flop …
Anfield is on fire!!! Brendan Rodgers got fired and the ‘Normal One’ has taken over.
Jurgen Klop spent his 12-years playing career at Mainz 05, before going on to become their longest-serving manager from 2001 to 2008, during which time they achieved promotion to the Bundesliga. In 2008, Klopp joined Borussia Dortmund, leading them to back-to-back Bundesliga wins in 2011 and 2012, as well as the DFB-Pokal in 2012, the DFL-Supercup in 2008, 2013 and 2014, and their second appearance in a Champions League final in 2013. Klopp won the German Football Manager of the Year in 2011 and 2012, before leaving Dortmund in 2015 having also become their longest-serving manager.
The German became the manager of Liverpool in October 2015 during the International break, had little time to know his players and train with them, Danny Ings joining Joe Gomez in suffering a serious knee injury that will keep him out of the rest of the season is another major blow. He is capable of doing great things but his first game is a tough one, a trip to White Hart Lane to face a Tottenham side that hasn't lost since the opening day will be a big test to his ability, no doubt he’s got the magic fingers but can he bring it to the Merseyside?
Gunners Fully Armed…
Arsenal have gone into the International break with a massive win over Manchester United and now sit behind Manchester City who are top of the table. The Gunners will be confident on their return and hoping to pick up where they left off with a short trip to Watford in the Premier League followed by back-to-back tests from the German Champions in the UEFA Champions League.
Arsenal’s attack trio look like a weapon of mass destruction with Ozil as the Master craft Sanchez power and Walcolt  overrunning defenders with his speed but Can they go after Bayern Munich in the same fashion when the Germans come to town?
Lewan-goals -ki
The Bundesliga leaders have been superb this season and will come to the Emirates looking to pile on European Championship misery with Arsenal sitting at the bottom of Group F, especially after annihilating Borussia Dortmund in their last match, their eighth win in a row.
One player any defence line will want to avoid at the moment is the Gladiator himself Robert Lewandoski, the striker can’t stop scoring as he has ruthlessly destroyed any defence line he comes across, the Poland's star striker is in a fantastic streak of form, scoring five Goals In Nine Minutes against Wolfsburg and a hattrick in the Champions League against Dinamo Zagreb, equaled David Healy's record of 13 goals for Northern Ireland during a single Euro qualifying campaign, set in 2008. Lewandowski scored in each of Poland's last five qualifying matches and now has 32 goals all time for Poland, tied for fifth-most in team history.
The Guardiola led machine will certainly fancy coming away with maximum points both home and away.
Pressure…
Stamford Bridge is a freetown lately, the Special one and his team look ordinary and are presently 16th on the log, defeat to South Hampton ahead of the international break sparked a lot news of getting Jose sacked anything other than a win would be a disaster for the Champions while Tim Sherwood would also like to keep his job as the Aston Villa manager, Villa are sitting at the bottom of the log, having lost their last four matches.
Watch Outs!!!
In the Bundesliga, Bayern will be hoping for history to repeat itself as they confront Werder Bremen at the Weserstadion while in Italy, Fiorentina test their table-topping credentials against a free-scoring Napoli team while Juventus will hope to continue their league resurgence against Inter Milan at the San Siro. Everton are in fine form losing just two of their opening 10 games in all competitions and they will be facing Manchester United who lost their last game at the Emirate before the international break, the Tofees have won each of their last 3 home matches against the Manchester united
