Manchester
United loss to Southampton has created more controversies in United’s
camp especially for the manager Luis Van Gaal who is running out of time
as fans booed him after the red devil’s 1-0 Premier League defeat at
home to Southampton.
The under pressure United coach made a decision to cancel Sunday and Monday's training sessions is a surprise as he was spotted
by fans departing Manchester airport for his homeland, in Holland for
his daughter's birthday with some reports suggesting he might not return
to England from his trip.
Louis
van Gaal has courted more controversy after slapping a journalist at a
press conference before seemingly jetting out of Manchester to return to
the Netherlands over the weekend.
As reported by Goal, the Dutchman cancelled training on Sunday in the aftermath of the club's 1-0 Premier League defeat at home to Southampton, with players and coaches told not to come in for what had previously been a religiously routine post-match warm-down.

Man
Utd will be playing their next game on Friday against Derby County in
the FA Cup fourth round but a lot of speculations is flying around that
64 year old Dutch man is on the verge of losing his job
According to some reports some players at the club have reportedly told Vice Chairman Ed Woodward that they want the coach out while some have stopped responding to his tactics
Woodward
has canvassed senior players about the manager’s methods following a
wretched run of form. Van Gaal has lost the support of the majority of
the players in the dressing room and the increasingly desperate
situation is forcing United’s hand.
'I'm very disappointed that I cannot reach the expectations of the fans,' the manager said.
'They
have — or they had — great expectations of me, and I cannot fulfil
them, so I am very frustrated. I agree with them, so it doesn't have any
impact (on me).
'They
have knowledge of football, of entertaining football, and you have to
play football to entertain the fans. Today I don't think we have
entertained the fans, so they can be very angry.'
With
the present conflict, Ryan Giggs who is an assistant to the present
manager might take over the baton from Van Gaal till the end of the
season. Giggs was in charge of United for four games at the end of the
2013/14 season after David Moyes and he could do it again this season as many would be wondering why the manager has left thee team at this crucial time for personal reasons.
