ATP Hits Nick Kyrgios With A Fine

Nick Kyrgios has been hit with a $16,500 (£13,500) fine for his shocking behaviour during his second-round match at the Shanghai Rolex Masters on Wednesday.
An ATP statement read: 'After completion of the on-site investigation, Kyrgios received the on-site maximum fine of $10,000 (£8,200) for lack of best efforts, as well as a $5,000 (£4,100) fine for verbal abuse of a spectator and a $1,500 (£1,200) fine for unsportsmanlike conduct.'
Kyrgios had put in a pitiful effort as he tanked his match against German qualifier Mischa Zverev, losing 6-3, 6-1 in 48 minutes, and also engaged in an argument with a fan who had loudly voiced his criticism
